Actor John Thaw dies......
(sorry, if this has to be moved, or closed or whatever..)

Actor John Thaw died at his home yesterday, at the age of 60, from throat cancer which he had been battling for a long time.............

His family were around him.......

Fans are going to miss a greatly loved actor who was brilliant from The Sweeney to Inspector Morse.........

He was a brilliant actor indeed.....Im sure a lot of u are familiar......

Yeah John was a great actor from The Sweeney, through Inspector Morse and finally Kavanagh, QC television series.....

We shall miss him.....

Amen Mad1 !!
He will be missed greatly.
I often wondered how much acting was involved with the characters of Reagan and Morse. I think there was a lot of himself there.

a great loss. fine series with excellent acting. lots of great subtleties. his interaction with sgt lewis was very funny.

Ah, that's a shame. He was great as Morse. The last thing I saw him in was a tv movie about a year ago, I think. He played a plastic surgeon whose marriage is falling apart. His illness must have been quite sudden.

You know some songs sound like ones by Frank Sinatra
