A question about producers...
The last time I surfed @U2,Brian Eno's quote
on Bono suddenly caught my attention, and I
realized that though I keep noticing new sounds and notes each time I listen to a U2
album (yes,it's true despite the fact I've
been listening to U2 for nearly 8 years already - not a big deal compared to some of you U2 veterans however! http://forum.interference.com/u2feedback/biggrin.gif),I don't actually know that much about their collaboration with Brian Eno,Steve
Lillywhite,Daniel Lanois,Flood,about the
actual role these people play in U2's life.
Can anyone recommend me any relevant links
which you think are good ?

"Once I'd met Bono I knew I had to work with him. I thought there was something about him -- something that made the idea of spending time in a studio with him very interesting." -- Brian Eno

Brian Eno is God.

Bring back Flood.

" You love this town - even if that doesn't ring true. You've been all over, and it's been all over you " - Bono

" Don't you know there ain't no Devil, that's just God when he's drunk " - Tom Waits

Watch The Classic Albums episode on the Making of the Joshua Tree for some good insight into how Lanois and Eno influence the band.. it can be ordered on DVD or might pop up on TV sometime.
