Amazon Daily Deals!!!$$$!!
I figured it might just be easier to have a thread to bump occasionally (daily?) to give people an idea of what is cheap on Amazon.

Today it's Craig Finn's solo joint.

Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto is $0.25. I don't listen to them anymore and I know not everyone here is a fan, but for that price why not.

...what the hell?

iron yuppie 03-09-2012 07:50 PM

That's one hell of a promotion.

Good idea for a thread, 212.

bono_212 03-09-2012 07:51 PM

It's already been quite profitable lol. Though Travis was yelling at me the whole 30 seconds it took to purchase and download that a quarter wasn't worth it !

It's bullshit! She could have spent 25 cents on some stale gum out of a machine that I could enjoy for 15 minutes (at least 10 more than I've ever spent enjoying Mylo Xyloto), or kept a shiny piece of metal lying around. Where's the harm in that? As long as it's not radioactive or whatever.

What happens when winter comes and we're getting dirty looks from Salvation Army Santa Clauses, with no quarter to give them? Will she be listening to UFO then? No.

Well, that just seems insulting.

They don't work in Australia. I guess they don't want to send a USB over

bono_212 03-09-2012 08:45 PM

Just a head's up, yesterday Lady Antelbellum's album was only a quarter and today it's back to the regular price. I don't know how long they've been doing this quarter album thing, but I'll try and keep an eye out

(In other words, if you're wanting Mylo Xyloto, get it now)

Jive Turkey 03-09-2012 08:53 PM

It's probably Coldplay thumbing their noses at all the people they have to pay royalties to for stealing their hooks

martha 03-09-2012 08:53 PM

If someone gave me the quarter, rather than buy the Coldplay album with it, I'd throw the quarter down the sewer to hear it rattle. The rattle would sound better.

MissVelvetDress_75 03-09-2012 09:04 PM

^ ouch!

deep 03-09-2012 09:05 PM

a quarter for coldplay?

sounds about right, you could always rent them out at quinenceras

Danny Boy 03-09-2012 09:41 PM

For the record, I made a conscious decision not to pay $0.01 for Gaga last year.

And Amazon usually has lots of albums for $5 on Fridays.

Nice thread idea, A$hley.

Folks, make sure you use those click-through links so she gets her kickbacks.
