I wouldn't even mind it if that was real. It would be the first time I'd enjoy a Coldplay song, because it misses the main annoyment factor: Chris Martin.

last unicorn 02-23-2009 06:44 AM

I love Speed of Sound, honestly.

But U2 covering Coldplay, wtf?

I hope Chris will be ok.

Larry: "How can we really, really screw with our fans' minds this time?"
Adam: "Easy, we cover Coldplay."
Bono: "What happens then?"
Adam: "Well, one of two things. Either they praise our cover and say that it's much better than the original, hence having to admit that they've actually listening to the original, OR they say it's a crap song by a crap band and a crap cover and we're crap. They then fall into a bitter, bitter fight, and don't even notice when we release an album in fall."
Edge: "Let's do it."
