The Temple Bar - Innocents enter under advisement: UYFA

No longer must you wander aimlessly in search of free drinks.

That's right folks! While the Octagon may be long gone or simply dormant in the darkest depths of the Lemonade Stand, there's a new club on the scene. We have some fresh competition in the neighbourhood!

It may or may not be a giant lemon.

It's the cool new place everyone is talking about...

The Temple bar.....Would you join us?

"So, what are the good bars around here?"

 "We don't go to bars"

"Where would we find out?"

 "maybe in XXXbuilding, they're bad sometimes"

"never mind, we'll just call a cab, maybe they'll know"

"maybe, but they might not know how to come find you"

Did u just compare me to a daddy's little girl who has never been outside of White/Dutch Suburbia OR the Christian Reformed Church circle?

B/c if so...those people were pretty bad in that building I bet...

snowbunny00774 07-26-2007 01:22 AM

 no

I just replayed an actual conversation we had when we first got there...I can'r remember the name of the building but it was pretty close to a parking lot. We were so amused to this day my friend Shannon and I randomly break outr into this conversation.

When we did call the cab we asked for a cab driver that was very familiar with the bars in the area. The one they sent was great

That's because the Cab Drivers are all drunks...:tsk:

KIDDING! I'm sleepy. Goodnight!

What's a TOTP?

LarryMullen's POPAngel 07-26-2007 08:10 AM

Random: do you know Smirnoff now sells water with vodka in it?

A friend told me the other night. And I said to her "Sounds kind of interesting, mostly 'eh', but interesting, and I must try some"

Eta: Ok, now this makes more sense to me than normal water with vokda thrown in

UberBeaver 07-26-2007 08:22 AM

Why would anyone want to drink something that tastes like Vodka, but isn't?

LarryMullen's POPAngel 07-26-2007 08:30 AM

My only answer is that they're too drunk to go out for anything else? Other than that, I don't really know. $6 a pop in bars, though, and it's probably not even that good. Yikes.

Which reminds me - gotta stop by Merchant's tonight, see if they sell Keith's :drool::drool:
