Boston's Brad Delp found dead

I was a fan. They still don't know what happened to him. Brad Delp of Boston found dead in his home at age 55.

Is he the guy who made all the music in his basement, or one of the guys that guy hired to actually form a band for touring?

MrBrau1 03-09-2007 08:00 PM

He was the original singer.

Listening to "Foreplay/Long Time" right now.

GUITARS!

Canadiens1131 03-09-2007 08:02 PM

Oh shit, then he's the very talented multinstrumentalist :(

MrBrau1 03-09-2007 08:03 PM

No. That's Tom Scholz.

MrBrau1 03-09-2007 08:08 PM

Brad Delp sang on this essential 70s rock record:

I have been informed that Tom Scholz is the musical mastermind. I retract my :( previously posted.

namkcuR 03-09-2007 08:11 PM

So, he sang 'More Than A Feeling', right?

Bummer.

Westport 03-09-2007 08:14 PM

I listened to that album 100s of times.

Man, that really sucks. He was living here in N.H. recently.

His vocals are some of the most memorable in rock history. The first Boston album is an essential classic rock record, as Mr. Brau previously mentioned.

RIP

I understand about indecision
I don't care if I get behind
People livin' in competition
All I want is to have my peace of mind

And did you both know that it still remains the "Number-one-selling" debut album in U.S. history as well ??
