I’ve gone into this at length elsewhere, but I think RFD works as an uptempo rocker, but it doesn’t work as a political song “about” Syrian refugees. Short version is that the subject matter clashes with the song’s style and attitude. Based on the setlist placement, glad to see the band went with the right spot! Will check video later, but I’m sure it was fun.
