a daring, creative, adventurous set tonight from the most out of control, unpredictable rock act on the planet. Damn, that was unreal.

Got to love replacing Gloria with a dud off Bomb. A t least if they plug in Red Flag Day, there is some fresh/newness with that.....but uggh with ABOY. The set is short at the least 2 classic warhorseyesque tunes with Gloria, so when you drop it and replace it with that....even less spectacular.

The music industry is abuzz with the most rock n roll audaciousness witnessed in years. U2 has shocked the world by playing virtually the exact same set every show. No one saw this coming - they promised extended sets and rarities - so boring - but have come out swinging with a predictable and somewhat baffling running order every night.

Thematically questionable and often somniferous, the lads have nevertheless been pulling off what was once thought impossible - or at least what was once thought impossible since the last time they toured - and did the exact same thing.
