From a musical perspective, it's also different because Larry's snare is LOUD when you're right there. It's got some punch.

YES. Happened to be directly in front of one of the e-stage speakers and that snare sounded like he was right next to me on the rail! I could hear Ad's bass note for note at times as well! Loved it. The sound quality on this tour is SUPERB.
