The desktop countdown is never accurate, for one thing, and when the stream does start early, it doesn't interrupt the desktop countdown. It only seems to launch on mobile devices.

i haven't heard the full band version of every breaking wave.

There were actually five Pop songs played on Elevation - Discotheque, SATS, Gone, Please, and Wake Up Dead Man. (Though none of them appeared on all three legs.)
However, since the end of Elevation, there have been just three performances of Pop songs: two of Discotheque on the Vertigo Tour in September 2005 and one of SATS at a Clinton event in late 2011.
