Well, it's NYC, security is bound to be assholes at some point. And really, why on EARTH would you risk a signed flag in a GA line? Tuck it away somewhere. Poor Sil.

In Chicago, Adam signed my shirt, and I immediately put it away in my bag (I carried my U2360 tote in place of a purse) until I was safely inside GA and on the rail. I took it out, asked security if it was okay to have "hanging" over the rail, and when the guard said sure, I kept it out. I didn't physically carry the shirt through GA security checkpoints simply because I didn't want to be asked/told to toss it out! And after the e-stage set, once Ad' and the band had seen it, I put it back in my bag so I could enjoy the rest of the show!

This is unacceptable. Shame on that security guard. Jerk.

The quality of customer service at MSG seems to vary widely. Day 2 a very nice guard suggested I take the elevator instead of the escalators because I'm older and um, wider than the average fan. I thought that was terrific. I saw him Day 4 and said hi; he asked me how I liked the show and I told him I loved it, of course.

Sil deserves better. Far, far better.

Day 4 one really went to town in my wife's very tiny purse
