Kinda off topic at this point in the show, but is it too soon to declare Sweetest Thing dead? It's missed 8 shows, right?

Yeah I'm starting to think it might be gone. I do expect it to show up during the lengthy NYC residency though, as they rotate through practically everything in those two 2nd set slots.

Anyone tried any hard apple cider? I'm not a beer fan but love apple flavor.

Cider's become massive in Australia over the last few years. I've been a fan for many years, and now there are heaps of ridiculous flavoured ciders, or crap ciders made from apple flavouring rather than actual apples just to pump it out and meet the demand ... though that's still better than the dark days when the only cider you could ever find on tap at pubs (and only if you were lucky) was Bulmer's. I can't believe I used to drink that stuff.

If you can find real perry - not pear-flavoured cider, but perry, made from actual pears - it can be excellent too.
