Chicago #2 Setlist party

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

On messageboards in general. Go check out most forums and they're slower than they were a decade ago. The Internet has largely moved on - which I think is a shame, because I much prefer messageboards as a place for discussion to most of what's followed them.
Yeah, it's a shame.

Not really sure how Ferguson/Charlotte fall under the same compromise umbrella as the Ireland speech.

Like .... compromise on racism? On police violence? Say what now, Bono?

I guess just peace in general, but that felt a little awkward.

Lord, watching on periscope, from pretty much where I would have been sitting if I hadn't gotten rid of my tickets, sigh.
Really dead crowd, it would have driven me mad to see!
The show seems great, if a little pat and actually not very crowd-engaging, I wish I could have gone, but I can't bring myself to travel to see Bono now that he apparently can pretend Monsanto and big-ag is okay to advocate for.
It's quite sad.
I'd waited til now to watch a show or setlist party, just to myself 'pretend' like it were the good ol' days when I respected Bono, sigh.
I wish Edge or someone could talk some feckin' sense into his mussed-with head.

And I apologize for posting all those gifs way back when. Someone should have smacked me upside the head :reject::doh::crack::wink:

Oh Lord, MoS sequeing into Bad

I wish I could have gotten over my problem with him to see this lol...

It calls to mind the two other great shows I saw in Chicago...where Bad figured in one and the other closed amazingly with MoS, sigh...

Bad seems to be a night 2 special.

Except for Denver

Haha Denver got so screwed.

The way that MOS snippet keeps growing, by the European leg he'll probably be singing the entire damn song while Edge plays the longest Beautiful Day outro ever.

Aww. It was just a different crowd. There were a lot of people who liked them (obviously), so that's the way the threads went.

Now there are fewer of the "liked them" crowd and more of the "hate them" crowd, so there you go. ;)

Bloody hell. is there some sort of thread on the anti Monsanto bard brining these folks in?

You sold your tickets because Bono supposedly advocates for Monsanto? :eyebrow: There's a thread for that.
