It looks like we will have to do our Tonight Show residency another time - we're one man down. Bono has injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it. We're sure he'll make a full recovery soon, so we'll be back! Much thanks to Jimmy Fallon and everyone at the show for their understanding.

I feel almost as bad for Jimmy Fallon than I feel for Bono right now. I wonder how they can change the guest list for the upcoming shows so quickly, they kind of need an emergency plan. And for Bono and the band I, of course, hope for a speedy recovery. It's "just" the arm so I think they can still perform once he's better.

i know its a cliche but as no one else seems to have said it yet, i thought what the hell!!!

So here goes (and feel free to shoot me down!)

Is Bono ok?

So with Bono's injury has the promo tour stopped altogether? It seems to have come to a screeching halt.

Well, yeah. Did you see the injuries he suffered? No chance he can perform, and he probably looks like complete shit.

Not going to be hearing anything from U2 for a long time
