I don't know how to post a map for Marik,
7440 Boulevard Décarie, Montréal, QC H4P 2N1 to CEPSUM-Université de Montréal - Google Maps

but if you go to google and punch in hippodrome it's pretty straight forward. Hit "get directions" and then the wee train icon and it will give you directions and you can see the Metro line goes right to the Hippodrome. Station Namur is the closest stop on the Metro and there is a station at the l'Université de Montréal which is the M5 line.
If you take the M5 then connect with the M2 it takes 18 minutes to get to the gig from this residence. Here is the info on the dorm I posted a couple pages back, hope this info helps:



There is also a bus that runs (the 368 line) that will take you directly as well. It runs early enough for GA on Friday and late enough in the evening to get you back after the gig.

Thanks for this info. Have you already looked into the 368 bus line times? How early in AM and how late PM does it run?
