Madison square garden gig

Don't know if this has been reported yet;

Heard Paul McGuinness on Irish radio talking about U2 headlining the second night of the 25th anniversary of the rock on roll hall of fame gig in MSG, they will play a 40 min set and Mick Jagger and The Boss are due to do some songs with them, I think it's on next weekend.

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

isn't that what headlining is?

although this is a whole lot of co-headliners in this case.

cool, thanks for the info! i've been wondering who U2 will be performing with, since it hasn't been announced yet. i was thinking maybe Mick Jagger, or possibly even David Bowie (that would be amazing!). I'll be at the show on Fri, and am excited to see what ends up happening.

Eric Clapton was supposed to play but now he has backed out because of gall bladder problems. I wonder who will take his spot?
