June 22, 2011 - M&T Bank Stadium - Baltimore, MD

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I'm going to be honest - this was my least favorite show I've been two, and this is my third of the 360 Tour and fifth ever. The least energy I've seen (which I accredited to the searing temperatures) Also felt like the tallest stadium I've been in, so I felt really far away. (Nosebleeds...I'm a 21 year old college student, even nosebleeds are too much for me to spend money on). My favorite concert was Raleigh in the Tar Heel stadium. Small stadium, nice and cozy.

As others said, I could not hear him in EBTTRT. However, I was super stoked on how many AB song were played. I did enjoy the set list but my boyfriend reallllly missed Bullet, and so did I actually.

I also didn't like the crowd of people I was in - the people next to us got annoyed at my singing and they got mad at the people in front of us for dancing - kind of buzz kill. And there were some younger guys that kept harassing people to dance more, which was kind of annoying aswell. Also, this was the quietest crowd I had ever heard. Sure, GA was loud, but the rest of the stadium didn't sing along with Bono much when he was trying to get us to sing stuff, and I felt bad for him.

I didn't mind the light rail wait in all honesty. We were on the second one to BWI and I expected the mass crowd. Yes they could have done better. I was only annoyed because we were dripping sweat down there.

I had fun, as I always do, but I was disappointed especially because this was my boyfriend's first U2 concert.

the fancam is bullshit! My friend and I got up to get drinks!

Missed me too somehow! I went to the bathroom *right* after Florence ended. Thing is I saw the camera take the photo my way while I was there and my friend was away, yet the fancam is showing my friend there and me gone. :|

I was sitting in the first level behind the Red zone on Adam's side and the sound was very distorted. Did anyone else notice this?

I did have a great time!

Missed us too! Only time we left our seats was right after Florence. We were there 1/2 hr before Florence and the Machine took the stage and were gone just 20 minutes or so (in those long bathroom lines) right afterwards. Not the greatest time for the Fancam to take a picture...:hmm:

This was only my second time seeing them, I was SO glad to be there. But I really felt badly for the people who needed to get on that light rail, I knew it would be bad, Baltimore was not prepared for how many people they had. Baltimore does not have the best transit system, I live there and I had a terrible time getting home after taking the subway. Anyway, thanks all for the wonderful pictures

It was a bit off for the first 2 songs or so, but the mix greatly improved, as others have mentioned. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you can get a lot of echo/bounce.

Don't know what came over me, but I was sitting down inside the inner circle when the fancam started rolling. I knew about it, but was too hot and tired to get up. :tsk:

Of course I'm blocked by Larry's drums! Back in Florida after going to see the Baltimore show. Happy it didn't rain, but it may have actually cooled things off a bit, as it was quite warm and humid. I live in Florida, so its just another day for me. For the first time I can remember, I saw two bloodied idiots get escorted from the GA area just before the show began. I never recall seeing an altercation escalate like that at a U2 show. I got to hear Stay for the first time live, which was a personal highlight (sadly, me and one other guy in our section even knew the words). Phone service was absolutely horrible, which means nonexistent. A great time, though. I get to do it one more time in Miami!

yes the phone service was awful. was it for all the providers? I have AT&T and got nothing, no voice or data all night.

That seems to be the case at many of the shows - service seems to be okay for a while, and then BAM! no one can do anything with their phones. Oh well.

is that the claw screwing with the phones? I remember not getting anything at FedEx the last time. :ohsnap:

Does the network go wonky if 50,000 people are all messing on their phones at the same time? I have no idea how that stuff works.

I also wondered about the phones. I didn't try to use mine at Baltimore, but at Chicago on Tuesday (was that Tuesday? is today Friday? my body clock is seriously messed up; we drove home late last night from Chicago) I had no reception in Soldier Field, and I mean none at all. My husband's Blackberry worked for a while and then it quit working also. Can anyone explain this?

I was also shocked by the fight in Baltimore; it was right behind me (I was on the outer rail). I've seen my share of shoving and drunk idiots but never anyone actually hitting each other. Bleah. The guy who started the fight, or was involved, tried to push up to the rail not long before that fight broke out; he was drunk and rude and needless to say, we did not let him on the rail! My thanks to the three unknown guys behind us who formed a barrier so we did not get hurt and they also protected the lady next to me who was there with her teenage daughter (who was badly shaken by this incident). Sigh.

Kyra, you must have been just to the left of myself & my husband (we were on the rail, also). That fight was ridiculous & I'm so glad no one else got hurt. I hope the little drunk asshat who started the whole thing spent the night in jail for his trouble. Definitely not something I've seen in any other GA I've been in. :(

Well, that's just awesome.

I just spent way too long trying to find myselfon the fancam before I realized I coldn't tag myself anyway- my screen cut off the "tag me" button! :eyebrow:

Baltimore was my second concert, my first rock concert, and most importantly, my first U2 concert. It was great. Favorite songs were Stay, Even BetterThen The Real Thing, The Fly, and Zooooooooooooropa. I was very pleased with the set, although I started losing attention during the encore. It's not as stunning when you're in seats, though the disco ball and Milky Way effects were pretty awesome.

I got one good, the rest blurry pics of The Claw.

My phone sucks. It couldn't even zoom in to get close ups of the screens.
