It doesn't seem like it would make much sense to use someone else's music to promote a U2 tour... So I'm hoping it's from SOA.

Ok so we know the song is Kingdom and that Gavin has mentioned it before, but is there confirmation somewhere that Kingdom is a (future) Gavin Friday song?

bc, I went looking around last night, and it's not a song of his that's out, as far as I could tell - and I looked at his solo albums, soundtracks and scores. I also read on his MySpace page that he's planning on releasing a new album next year, but if it's not till then, I'm wondering if he'd even have a fully prepared version of the song ready now.

I've listened to it multiple times, and there's obviously a lot of vocal layering, but I'd almost bet money that Bono is one of the voices. If it is Gavin's song, then maybe Bono sang on it?

Someone in Barca needs to get on this investigation now.

^ I dug around in the Gavin info too and didn't come up with anything about the song, that's why I've been wondering why people have been saying they think it's a Gavin Friday song. How did people come up with this besides the one time Gavin posted Kingdom... soon. Is that the only thing people are basing the speculation that it's his song on?

Yet every Vertigo Tour show's opening song was not a U2 song, but The Arcade Fire's Wake Up ...

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Is it possible that the song Kingdom of Your Love that is on the list hanging behind Edge in the NLOTH book could have just been shortened to Kingdom? (or they are just calling it that like a nickname)

It didn't sound like Gavin to me, but I haven't heard a high quality version yet Either way, it's starting to grow on me.

Really? You mean their voices, I don't think they sound alike at all.

Kaf, it's at the beginning and end of this, at 0:01 - 0:40 and at 6:48 - 8:00:
