The Start of Magnificent

Who plays it,the 2 loud "throbs".I dont think its Edge cos hes doing his guitar bit.Is it the bass? Or is it a taped sound?

Edge def plays it on the BBC roof, it is a different tone, much crunchier and sounds a bit flatter.

I would guess it is played then looped as well, just as the keys on COBL are played by Adam and then looped for the outro

how much of the show do U2 actually play live? it sounds incredible like the album versions of the songs when youre there.I thought it was because they were so good!
