Hi all! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my question,so feel free to move it if needed. Anyway, what i'm curious about is whether or not U2 has ever done a cover of Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah". It's an amazingly beautiful song and it would sound even more amazing with Bono and Edge singing it together. I checked on YouTube & apparently every other musician under the sun has covered it at one time or another. Thanks for your help!

I don't think they ever did a full version of that one, but Bono has snippeted it at the end of One a couple of times during the Popmart Tour. He did this just after Jeff Buckley died (who did an amazing version of Hallelujah on his album Grace).

Bono did do a studio cover of that song on a Leonard Cohen tribute album (Tower Of Song).

Found this over at u2gigs.com ;)
