What do you think the t-shirts/merchandise will be like?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I have ordered a couple of the shirts from the site, not sure when they will be shipped though.

This shirt is pretty good, reminds me of Achtung Baby:

That will be mine!

I want it in women's shirt!! damn the nicest ones are always only available for men...so lame

As much as I love Breathe and that line from Breathe, I won't be buying that shirt because:

a) as a woman, I'm not thrilled about wearing a shirt where the word "loose" is the most prominent thing on it - I might as well get one of those "porn star" shirts;

and

b) I think it's pretty danged ugly.

(I'm mostly kidding about the first reason)

^You dont even feel them, they are so lightweigt. And they "Breathe!!!"

I must say I like most of the shirts from the picture's I've seen so far,
I'll be checking the real things in 8 days, so I hope they have anything In my size.
Smaller sizes usually sell fast...

U're referring 2 the EDUN ones, correct? Not the ones on sale @ the shows?

If U r, then I totally agree.... EDUN's shirts r amazing.

Looks pretty nice to me. I've already seen a few t-shirts I'd like to get. :hmm:

Are there any more - preferably clearer - pictures from the actual merchandise stands at the gigs out there now?
I know some of the stuff are up on U2.com as well but not all of it from what I can tell.

The next stop on the tour is Gothenburg :)hyper:) after all, so I'd better be certain of what I'm going to get pretty soon. ;)

Thanks in advance!

I find them all really ugly LOL! I bought one in Milan ( in olive the band on the front and the dates on the back). It looks ok, but that's it. I won't buy another one, I mean they are all 30 euro. :crack:
But the tour book looks cool.

I can see that the shirts are €5 cheaper in Dublin than they were in Barcelona!
What for is that €10 price tag btw, almost on the far right?
And I haven't seen that white "Stand up to Rock Stars" Mens shirt before, only the girls' version. Quite like it with the old logo and back print...

I hate it when they have different merch at different tables, esp if there's a specific design you're looking for. I really want the "Future Needs A Big Kiss" shirt on the website. Maybe I should just order it from there.

All I know is that the merchandise stands in the front Croke Park were mess. They need a better method and more staff to deal with the t-shirt sales. I did not like having to fight my way for a t-shirt.

I also had to fight my way up for Vertigo Tour stuff in Portland, but then again, that's been the same story for every other concert I have ever been to since the 70's.
I think it's just the way it is. :|

First of all, they (Live Nation looks after merchandise, right?) need to find someone who can actually spell the venue names - or find someone who will check everything properly before things go to print. I would hate to be some Croatian fan, all excited about buying a t-shirt only to find out that the venue name is spelled wrong. And to write it out 2 and spell it wrong both times... seriously!!!

... but then they should move on to finding someone who can come up with better designs. With the exceptions of maybe 1 design, all other are below average IMO.

I just got a shipping notification for the 360 tour stuff I ordered but the jacket I ordered was NOT included in the listed items. I have sent them an email asking about.

Also it was sent via "IMEX Standard" whatever kind of shipping that is. Usually they use DHL.

:grumpy: Barcelona 30 euros, Paris and Amsterdam 35!!!! and Dublin indeed 25! Why oh why did I buy most of my tshirts in Paris?? :scream:

I agree with you there, they can't even get the Cardiff venue right - it's spelt Millenium Stadium instead of Millennium Stadium on the dripping logo t-shirt and I would assume it's spelt that way on the others.

My favourite design is the loose electricity one.

I keep thinking they should sell a scale model of the Claw. I would pay money for one of those. Maybe in two sizes

I have the Amsterdam and Dublin t-shirts now, going to add the London one to that then put them on my wall. Then I'll buy the Loose Electricity shirt for actually wearing!

i mentioned quite a few pages ago they should have a blow-up claw to go with my lemon and trabant

not that i could do better, but i am not impressed by the posters i saw on the pictures from the last page (although i did think that one guy's popmart shirt was cool )

i'd like to snag something like this:

:hi5: That's exactly what I told my friends! I'd definitely dig that. Even if it was one of those build-your-own models, that'd be even cooler!

Getting Merch in Croke wasn't hard, if you know where to go. Early in GA line it's best to go as soon as the stand opens, and if you're getting in late in GA, just go to the field. There's a merch stand in the back!

If they sell Claw models then they are gonna have to sell the U2 action figures to go with it ya know :hmm:

I got the Dublin shirt and poster, the tote bag, the tour book and the zip up sweatshirt. I'm going to get the keychain and a US shirt with the dates in Boston or NJ

I bought the tote bag in Barcelona, but wow, I couldn't help thinking how overpriced it was. I bought 5 of the exact same tote bag last summer at the Pearl Jam show for $5.00 each to use for grocery shopping and U2 is selling them in Europe for what I think was either 20 or 25 Euro. That's obscene.

I'll be curious to see for much they'll be selling those in the U.S. I don't know why I just didn't wait until the US to buy one of them.
