I'm banking on it being a snippet of some kind, unlikely full band or even acoustic. Drowning Man has never been played in full, but has been snippeted. The loose rhythm of the vocals allows for that sort of thing.

yeah, it's also very easy to play on guitar. it's one of those songs that i'm surprised hasn't been brought out for an acoustic set yet.
