haven't seen this here, if so, sorry

from u2.com

Ok party people, here is some info

Keep checking back to this specific post, as it will be updated with more info to help make the presales go smoothly. Please copy and distribute to any and all fan websites or mailing lists you are on.

READ THE ENTIRE POST, THEN READ IT AGAIN

1.- Is it INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT that your contact information is up to date. Especially your email, do NOT use the U2.com email as your contact email, please use your regular email provider. I cannot emphasize this enough.imageimageimageimage

2.- Look up at the TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER of the page; do you see the word PROFILE? This is a link to your account information, NOT the profile everyone sees. If you click there it will take you to a page where you can update your contact information and you can also see your expiry date (YAY!) so you know when you need to renew.

3.- Update your contact information. Update your contact information. Update your contact information. お客様の連絡先情報を更新 , actualitzar les vostres dades de contacte, actualizar su información de contacto, mettre à jour vos informations de contact, aggiornare le informazioni di contatto, aktualisieren Sie Ihre Kontaktinformationen, تحديث معلومات الاتصال الخاصة بك , atualizar suas informações de contato, zaktualizować informacje kontaktowe, aktualizovat své kontaktní údaje, update uw contactgegevens…erm, you get the messageimage

4.- If you have not confirmed your email due to technical difficulties, please clear your cookies and cache and close your browser. Open browser, log back in. You should get a page that asks you to confirm your email. If you have done this, this page will not appear. If you have not, then the page also has an option that asks if you want the site to re-send you an email asking to confirm email. Do this. DO NOT CLICK ON IT MULTIPLE TIMES (if you still can't do it, please post in the FREE FORUM<GENERAL FORUM<CANT CONFRIM EMAIL 3/06/09 thread or have someone post for you.).

5.- We are working like crazy to get everyone's problems fixed; problems are being separated in batches, so you could be fixed on the login issue and not yet on the posting issue, please be patient.

6.- All other problems need to be posted in the appropriate thread (read the other Featured Topics). DO NOT REPOST or Re-SEND a PM if you have already told us your problem. You have done this already, and there is no need to tell us again. Repeats will be deleted.

7.- For some crazy reason the site works best on Mozilla Firefox, why? No clue image. It's supposed to work with all browsers but some people are reporting its not. Change browser, at least until we fix this.

8.- Webmail is down or has intermittent access image. Tech will fix this AFTER everyone gets sorted out with their access problems.

9.- The presales are NOT going to happen the day of the tour announcement, so we still have time to fix all of you.

10- Log in/log out issue; I have been informed by Tech that the site automatically logs you out after a certain period of inactivity. I have requested this be removed or changed to at least an hour. When this will happen I have no idea. So if this is happening it's NOT a problem with your account (for those that click on MY HOME and get bumped off that IS problem, we are on it).

11.- Display names not being recognized; we have fixed most, but there is a small group of people whose display name has other characters than a space, & $ ! @ # : ; or ?, tech is trying to fix this. SUPER IMPORTANT your contact info is current for this. Due to the issue that some of you have very similar display names, some display names will have to be changed.

12.- DO NOT DELETE your INVOICE/RECEIPT or 25% coupon email.. This proves you paid and if there is any problem, we will need it. Also might want to keep your credit card statement around (better safe than sorry)

And last but not least

If you want my or a moderators help, please treat us with respect and courtesy. I have instructed the team to delete a/o skip any rude, impolite or disrespectful messages. This type of behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

I know and understand you are frustrated, we are also as there are only a handful of us, and thousands of you, but if you cannot act in a civil manner, then I invite you to bypass us, and deal with Fanfire / Signatures Network / LiveNation directly. I am sure they will provide the customer service you deserve.

4 hours gone and none has posted anything here?

Looks like a lot of the pre-sale codes being used for the North American gigs today ...

Geez, still haven't gotten my email from U2.com. The presale code is on the tour page, but no idea which group (though obviously not Horizon!).

So, for those of us buying tickets to North America shows, we can only purchase FOUR (4) tickets total, right? But we have the option to spread them out over a few shows, unlike those going after Europe gigs?

When I first read it, I thought US members could buy up to 16 tickets (ie, up to 4 tickets for 4 shows), but I think I am now wrong. Could someone please confirm the process to me? Thanks, I really appreciate it.

Need help!

My friend and I just purchased a membership at $50 but I can't seem to get clear in my head when we will be able to get tickets. Ticketmaster was saying only earlier today that new memberships go on sale Thursday. Now that info has gone and it says exsisting members only.

Can someone please try and state to us when they go on sale for new members? Also, do you get your presale code through seperate? We have had nothing as of yet...?

Your second thoughts are right. You can buy a maximum of FOUR tickets. You can, however, buy 1 ticket for four different shows in the US. In Europe that wasn't possible.

ticket "tour limit"?

I bought 4 tix in the presale for Dublin. Suppose they add a second Barcelona concert tomorrow during the General Sale. The ticketmaster.es site recogn izes my account for ticketmaster.ie, so when I buy Barcelona ticketes they know I bought Dublin tickets. I couldnt find anything about ticket limits on ticketmaster.es. But on ticketmaster.ie it was stated max 6 tickets per household per creditcard per address per..
They were not clear if per show.

Can I buy tickets for that second concert in the general sale, or would they be cancelled because of a ticket "tour" limit? Is there a 4 or 6 "ticket per tour limit"?

Thanks for all of the good info. here.

But what's up with whole Horizon, Breathe and Boots thing? I got my subscription 10 days ago and I'm in the Boots group.

But what's up with whole Horizon, Breathe and Boots thing? I got my subscription 10 days ago and I'm in the Boots group.

Horizon members are long-time members of U2.com (i.e. pre-March, probably even from last year and earlier), Breathe are the group of members after that one (pre-March but joined later than Horizon members), Boots members are the people who signed up after the tour announcement.
:)

I can't seem to get an answer on u2.com - I purchased 2 VIP tickets. I had to enter my presale code (which is a 'boots' code) to access it. Do those 2 tickets count toward my 4? or am I down to 2 for the 'Boots' presale now.

Thanks Popmartijn - that's what I thought.

Interestingly enough I am a long time U2.com subscriber but the hoops I had to jump to prove that when I paid again this year were just too high for me to deal with. The only reason I joined U2.com was to get the presale code. I don't think I'm the only one who agrees that U2.com sucks. I hope I get good seats for Boston.

Was that for Europe gig? if yes, then you got two tickets and your pre-sale code has expired...

Different for North America. Thk you can use remaining two shots still... but not sure with this one....

Ticket prices by section?

I've been reading over all the threads on tickets and if this has been answered before, I apologize in advance!

Looking at the tickets at Gillette Stadium on the Ticketmaster page there's a wide range of prices. For example, lower is listed as $97.50-$252.50, upper is $32.50-$97.50, and so on.

Do we actually have an idea of if there is a range of different prices in each section or is it just the high and low prices listed? For example, are there more than the 2 prices listed for each section? Also do we know what constitutes the "high end" price in a section versus the "low end" price? Obviously it's where the seat is located, but do we know where the cutoff is?

Thanks for your help!

Just wondering if everyone is trying for GA tickets during the pre-sale or are some trying for seated tickets.

This is what she said when I asked her if there was any new info or confirmation about the presale codes.

NO, nothing, and there wont be till Fall.
They are keeping their cards close to the chest

Which really annoys me, because you would think that they would at least tell us if we should use up our codes now because we will get new ones, or should we save them if we also want to go to a show on the second leg.

Thanks Sicy!

I hope so because I just used my Horizon for four GA's to the 9/24. Now what sucks is- I thought it was (4) tickets for (4) shows- meaning 16 tickets. I know Im an idiot! Got too excited and didnt read.

Well, there's a good chance that we will get new codes when we renew for next leg (hopefully).
