Adam hit his peak on the new album in terms of bass playing imo!
He said himself that after all these years he has finally figured out how to play his instrument properly,

Althought I think NLOTH could have been better, I think the 4 members of U2 have really stepped up there game!

Edge's solo on Unknown Caller, GOYB, classic Edge riff!

Adam's Bass on Magnificent, Fez/BB, Unknown Caller,

Larry's drumming on Fez/BB, Unknown Caller, Cedars Of Lebanon and GOYB

Bono's, huge vocals on MOS, Big notes in WAS, and Breathe!

U2 - Lack of... ahh, hell. Something. You decide

Since we've been on a Lack of something threads...

well, U2 lacks of profissionalism! That's right I've said it! How can Bono forget his lyrics? Is he human?!

And why does Larry have to watch porn while playing?! I know the songs are not hard to play but why not watch something better?

And The Edge! Why he's always so cool?! Cool - unprofessionalism

And Adam! Why is he english?! Total disrespect!

WTF? Adam's bass playing is one of the key highlights of the tour so far. He seems to jamming and shaking it up a lot more these days than he ever done in the past. Plus he seems to be hell of a lot more creative and confident in his playing on this tour than ever.

I can't understand how Adam's bass can be considered lacking...

I guess it's his age- when they did Zoo Station on the Vertigo tour, Bono reprised some his Fly acting, but I don't think his back could handle much goosestepping.

I do think a lot of things during the Veritgo tour were affected by his back - look at him crawling around on the stage in the Chicago DVD, he wasn't doing that during the rest of the tour when the back rumour started floating. I'd say now his back is in much better shape however. He's seems a lot more lively now, and he's jumping around a heck of a lot more, despite not walking the catwalk as much, I'd say he's ok now.
