Where on Live Nation was this info? I'm VERY interested in the Buffalo, NY gig(s)...

Just read this off u2.com:

" Here is a list of cities that U2 will visit in 2010 as per a very reliable source at Live Nation

Take it with a grain of salt....

i'm picturing bono singing it at mt. smart being like "all is quiet on christmas day" and for some reason we're like one of a couple hundred there. oh and despite it being summer there, it's all snowy. :der:

:reject: i need to stop thinking out loud.
:cute:

that'd be hilarious. especially given the last recorded snowfall in auckland was back in like...the 50s, and it was on top of one of the many hills here.

 preferably in february/march of 2010 please

this would be my best bet , they tend to fit em in around the AFL season ! otherwise it will be late in 2010 aka vertigo which would SUCK . although giving me longer to save. however the credit card is topped up and the savings are good now, i ave plenty of leave up my sleeve ..... oh yes following them around australia is looking good.

just waiting ...... tick tick tick

not to mention if they did play in early 2010 it'd be hopeful that me and the hubby could come :flirt:

I heard POPmart production cost $1 million a show, They grossed $180 million for the whole tour, but spent $100 million on stage production costs, but I still can't find out how much the individual stage cost.

they will sure come to europe next year, only i don't know where excatly...

North American markets they should play in 2010:

Montreal
Toronto or Buffalo
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Indianapolis
Philadelphia
New York
Edmonton
Winnipeg
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Minneapolis
Madison or Milwaukee (depending on time of year)
Chicago
Charlotte
Miami
Kansas City
St. Louis
Memphis or Nashville
New Orleans
San Antonio or Austin (depending on time of year)
Monterrey
Mexico City
El Paso or Albuquerque
Denver
Salt Lake City
Fresno
Coachella or Los Angeles/OC
San Diego
Oakland or Palo Alto (wishful thinking for new Stanford Stadium)
Eugene or Corvallis
Seattle

The list sure looks long after I typed up the whole thing. Maybe a few too many cities, but most of the venues could sell out . . . no?

where is Europe???

It's across the Atlantic about 8 hours or so by plane.

Iowa is indeed IA, and there are two choices, both college football venues.

Iowa City and Ames.

Ames in just north of Des Moines by a stretch of about 30 miles ish, and U2 played there during ZooTV - so Des Moines could have been Ames on this list.

A run from Wisconsin, Ames, Kansas City and Denver would make some logisitical and ticket selling sense -- the last 3 locations have been played on prior tours.
