Renewed my driver's license today. When they take the ID picture, you can't wear glasses or smile, and they tell you tip your head down. Not a flattering look at all!

Time passes so quickly

My heart and soul are weeping. Tonight at the Purdue Emergency Vet Hospital, we said goodbye to our bright and beautiful cat Callie. She had been doing okay, even yesterday; but today she couldn't even stand up. She had two seizures since noon, so we decided she definitely needed to see the vet. Still wanted to eat, but the severe head tilt almost prevented that. And with all of her problems, the vet said she was apparently blind today, too. He said we could probably treat the seizures, but she may have had a stroke as well. The worst to see was that she couldn't stand up, even if we stood her up. We held her and petted her and talked to her for about 10 minutes, then it was time. It was amazingly quick. Now she is out of pain, and is sailing among the stars, waiting for us. We WILL see her again.
