Damn.
My daughter slept like shit for a long f'ing time. She just started to sleep partway through the night, and then her teeth came in, so right back to square one. If there's a cure, we never found it. Putting her in a bed helped, but that was @ 18 months. One thing that did help somewhat was cramming her full of as much food as possible, but being that she wasn't a good eater, the fight wasn't always worth it.

Does he cry during the day too? Did they tell you to try a different type of formula? Does he laugh when he sees you wander in, exhausted and frazzled? Maybe he's just fucking with you. Could be a dick like his dad.

Because he hangs out with Sean Penn before shows.

Happiest kid you can imagine when he's awake. Even at night, as soon as you get him, he's calm and smiley.

Yeah, we've tried feeding him more and less before bed. We've tried breast/formula/different formulas/different bottles/cereal/solids before bed. We've tried feeding him at night(he no longer even eats when we do - that's not it)/soothing him/rocking him/letting him cry for a few weeks at a time. We've tried longer/shorter/different times of naps during the day. We've tried putting him to bed earlier/later and putting his crib in different rooms of the house. I've tried putting him to bed sober(him)/drunk(me). We've tried making him and his room colder/hotter.

We've tried from lullabies to radiohead and U2 to lullaby versions OF radiohead and U2. We've tried white noise and radiohead songs that ARE white noise.

Hey, Scumbo, did you get hurricane-like thunderstorms today, too? I had to run outside and close my sunroof with the rain coming in sideways.

Yeah, right during lunch as well. Only had orange juice for breakfast, so I'm presently starving.

That bites. KSL says to expect another wave in the next hour or so down there. I'd bring you something if I wasn't worried about getting blown off the side of the mountain going around the point.

I've been away...did I miss any big U2 news? Do I need to turn in old tickets to get new tickets? Do people like the tour? Is Bono okay? Not his back, his hair. Are there new songs? Please don't make me go to the other place to find out this information. Thank you.

1. This may come as a surprise, but there has been setlist bitching. Some of it, I find valid. Do not speak of this to BoMac, however, or he will CUT YOU. I think the reports from people actually AT the shows have been positive overall.

2. They have, however, played three new songs - an instrumental intro thingie, and two song-songs, one of which kicked the bucket after a few shows (I am of the opinion that this is a good thing). They also added Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me (and made some other changes, some rather baffling).

3. Bono is very prancy during the intro instrumental, showing off his new German engineering.

4. Bono is also wearing leather nowadays.

5. Bono looks good.

6. Bono sounds good.

7. I can only assume that Bono feels very good as well.

8. ... I think that's all I've got. Shall I just make some stuff up instead?

9. At one of the shows, Bono did the band introductions in an alien voice.

10. I'm not making that one up.

Oh, almost forgot -

11. You can keep your original tickets.

Setlist bitching? I refuse to believe it.

Thank you.

Now, where did I put those tickets again...?
