AIM - I'm always on.
Wireless thingy - A must!
Norton Internet Security - Also to keep out haxx0rs. I always have attempts when I use my laptop at school.
Norton Antivirus - It better be working!
LAN - No connection, folks.
Quicktime - WTF, why is that open?
Sound - I have no more lame jokes to add.
Battery - Currently operating at 19%! I better plug it in, considering how my battery was one of the brands listed as a possible "exploding device."

You do know you can disable that blinking mail alert thing that shows up on AIM, right?

This is my work one:

GroupWise 7.0 (e-mail and scheduling), PrintKey, Webroot Spysweeper, Volume, Remote Management, iPrint, Symantec AV, Novell Desktop Management, Novell NetWare Client. All those things are standard for our WinXP Pro image.

My home laptop died, but it had volume, Symantec AV, and my wireless connection. I can't stand programs in the systray when they're not being used.

That was like an Easter Egg hunt for a good 3 minutes.

Thanks a lot, Sicy.
