That's pretty awesome then. I had only watched the IGN review. IGN annoys me most of the time anyway

They're actually the only review I've seen so far that gave it less than a 9. IGN does seem to be really annoying lately, very inconsistent.

Is it sad I'm considering watching LA Confidential or True Confessions tonight to prepare for the game?

Was playing last night and my building lost power.....good times.

All kidding aside regarding LA Confidential, I was thinking of doing the same thing.....

I've never seen True Confessions, have you? It randomly was playing on some HD movie channel I have, and I recorded it as I figure I couldn't miss with Duvall and DeNiro.

I highly recommend Infamous and Dead Nation.

L.A. Confidential sounds like a good pick. I haven't watched my Blu copy yet.

What about Chinatown?

Do you start as an ordinary citizen and develop powers and such, or do you just begin as a superhero?

An "event" happens that gives you powers right off the bat pretty much. It's handled really well, gets you interested immediately. You get more and more powerful though, so you can't really do much at first, but keep becoming more and more badass.

The cut scene videos are done in a comic panel type thing, it's really cool and fitting.

European and non-North American users are being excluded from this?

Yeah, I'll be picking up Infamous, and maybe Super Stardust or Dead Nation (which I know nothing about). Very cool. Plus the free month of PSN+ will be good for some demos and discounted games and such.

Due to events beyond our control, your package may be delayed by 1 - 2 days. UPS will deliver the package as soon as possible. We're very sorry about this unavoidable delay and we appreciate your patience.

Flying my package to New Mexico instead of Utah is an event beyond your control? You still can't get something to me from New Mexico to Utah in a day considering the service class used is supposed to be next day, and it shipped yesterday? UPS sucks.

I think LA Noire will be a ~$20 amazon purchase for me down the road. I think the ladyfriend wants to play it though.

Not sure if anyone has it yet. So after 11 hours of sitting in New Mexico, they kindly flew it to California for me. It's fun to watch UPS screw up, as thy really make sure to knock it completely out of the park.

I put in a decent amount of time on Infamous during my day off. Game is getting better and better, some fairly surprising twists in the story. I'm playing as an "evil" hero, which means many innocent citizens have met their end because of my electrical hell.

I don't do that nearly enough, play as a bad guy. I really should, the freedom must be fun.

I rarely do either. Actually, don't think I have since the original Knights of the Old Republic! Part of me is regretting it in this, as I feel bad sometimes, but the hilarious destruction makes up for it.

The story doesn't make quite as much sense if you play evil, but it's close enough.
