Music videos mostly. I bought a program (That I am still trying to figure out ) so that I can transfer dvd's into it.

Have you seen the tread about U2 videos that Waynetravis and Galeongirl have created? I have all those cioncert videos in mine, check it out.

Heaps of music videos, but also TV shows that I watch the next day (after recording) as I travel to and from work.

How is your battery life working?

(I used to own the video ipod of 30 GBS that came out last winter but it was stolen about two or three weeks ago along with my laptop, ...but I digress, what I was trying to say was that the battery wasn´t very good when I played videos with it.)

I guess its good if you are travelling perhaps, but I don't see a lot of use to watch videos on the small screen otherwise. Haven't used it a lot, but have watched some concert footage while in the car on a trip. Unless you have money to blow, like Carlos

i got the new U2 ipod. the battery life sucks. it says 14 hours max, but really, it mostly only goes seven or eight hours. on top. less if you watch videos, which makes it worse for me cos i intend to put more videos.

Typical Apple again... 14 hours if your listening to 12 bit mp3 files, and 20 minutes if watching a decent resolution video file.

The 80GB is about £220 ($400) in the UK. I wanted to buy it for some long flights. Probably won't bother.

I have someon mine, (60gig). Usually I watch a movie or a concert movie on a long flight, but mostly I use it for Video Podcasts. The best thing is really the photo option, and that you can load your pictures on it without always shlepping a computer around.
