I've got a video file that I recorded off my camera, but I don't want the sound to play. The sound's not really needed in the case of my video... just takes away from the file itself.

So the question would be, is there any program out there (clean cut and user friendly) that I can just open the file into, and strip the audio? Or whatever, as long as the audio doesn't play in the modified video file.

Thanks!

It looks like in Windows Movie Maker once you import the video clip you can go to Clip > Audio > Mute. WMM automatically comes free on any Windows computer.

No prob. I didn't know for years either, b/c it wasn't on my programs menu, but I found it by going to My Computer > C: > Program Files > Movie Maker.
