Hello all,

I've got an external hard drive with some ... sensitive material on it. I would like to set it up so that you need a password to open the drive. The problem is that my wife is using Windows 7 and I'm on a mac.

Does anyone know of a way to protect the drive but still have it available to both systems?

Thanks,

I would encrypt it if it is sensitive material. Encryption software can also use passwords, or "dongles" (a USB device that has to be connected in order to access the drive).
