Anyone know anything about laptop CD-ROM drives? Mine was working fine, I ripped a CD like usual, then all of a sudden I put a disc in and it wouldn't read and the player wouldn't open unless I put a paper clip in the little hole.
It also randomly pops open now each time I turn the laptop back on (whether its from sleep mode, hibernation or after shutting down). But its not reading anything now and the button wont open it. And when I go to "Devices and Printers" and click the DVD/CD Rom Drive it says "Device is working properly". Strange, never had any issue with one before.
