iTunes Update Issues?

Has anyone else had issues updating to the latest version of iTunes? I go through the entire download/update just fine, until the end when I get an error.

I have Vista but have updated at least twice with no problem.

Any help is muchly appreciated.

yeah, that happened to me at first too. i sometimes think it's pointless to install these updates because it seems like they cater to the newer Ipods. And i'm more than happy with my 80GB 5th Gen.

Yeah, I actually currently have iTunes 6.0.5. It's basically the same functions but it runs faster than if I had updated to the current version.
