Ipod videos won't play

some of my U2 videos will play on itunes but not on my ipod ...they are listed under MUSIC and not under VIDEO ...when clicking a video to play on my ipod the song will play but there is no visual .. I tried to restore my ipod but that did not help either ??

perhaps the file isn't in the right format for ipod? are they mp4?

can you select them via "Video Playlists"?

I went to VIDEO settings and changed the TV out to OFF and now they play fine ...
