ipod/mp3 question

is there a loss of quality in my mp3 files if I move them to my ipod, and then move them again to my pc??? (I deleted the original copies from my pc)

I don't think so... I mean, if you transferred the original mp3 to your ipod, the copy that's on your ipod should be the same as the one on your HD right?

So if you move them back to your HD, it should be the same copy of the original... does that make sense?

It just would seem like a gyp if moving files to the ipod you lose the quality of a music file.
