iphoto printing question

Whenever I try to print something directly from iphoto, and sometimes when I import it into photoshop, it's in color on the screen but prints b/w. Is there a button I'm not pushing or a command I'm not giving it?

First of all, do you have color toner in your printer?

Alright, I bet you that your printing settings are set to Greyscale. I personally saved my print presets to automatically print to Greyscale.

When you go to print, before actually hitting the print button, double check the Paper option that falls under "Paper Type/Quality". You'll see a drop down button for Color where you need to make sure it doesnt say Greyscale.
