iPhone wont power up!!

it is only 6 months old.

I do use it alot.

I plugged into power source.

nothing

I tried iPod to make sure cord and power are good.

they are fine.

also
cable to MacBook will not power up or connect to iTunes ?

I went to the Apple store today.

The techs, were good.

apparently the battery ran down completely
and it would not recognize the charger

so they plugged it in

and held down the home button (round button on front)

and the top bottom for a long time


it is working fine, now

I am 100% happy with the iPhone
