I really need to buy a PC and replacement my current knackered piece of rubbish.
I was talking to an IT geek a couple of months ago and he mentioned that 64-bit computing was going to be a leap in technology. He suggested that I must go for 64-bit when i come to buy a new one.
But do I really 64-bit???? I've got to say that I really don't understand it was what difference it will make to me.
I play a lot of music and want to be able to play good quality video. I download probably about 30GB a month and use the Microsoft office applications when working from home.
Would really appreciate some explanation of what this is and what I should really do... as these PCs are quite a bit more expensive.
Tks in advance.
