I just hooked up my mobile phone and my comp using bluetooth. Now what?

My friend told me to do this so my phone numbers from my phone are saved to my computer. How do I find them? What else does it do?

you can also transfer photos/videos from the phone to the computer or vise-versa. you have a mac right? the program on the mac for access the phone for pics is Bluetooth File Exchange.

My phone does not have the "necessary services."
