how do I cut and paste from a PDF??

Hola, Guten abend hi and hello!

So I am trying to cut and paste this chart into my paper for class (a Word .doc) and the chart won't seem to want to copy for me. ARGH. I've got the PDF's "select tool" selected.

Any notions?

If the pdf is protected, you can't. If you can do Edit > Select all and then copy and paste it, you can, BUT the formatting will likely be really screwed up. You need Acrobat (Standard or Pro, not the free Reader) or some other pdf program to easily go back and forth.

Do you need to edit the table? If not, it will probably be easier to take a screen shot of the pdf and then just make an image file with the table, insert that into the Word doc.

Maybe also try to download a PDF to Word converter software package (hopefully freeware).

Hi--thanks to you both! Very helpful. I'll see what I can do.
