Having problems downloading MSN.

So we just upgraded our computer, and I'm trying to download windows live or msn whatever you want to call it.

When I go to install it it gets up to 99% and just doesn't go any further.

I've tryed downloading it a million times, and the same problem just keeps happening.

Is there anything that could be blocking it?

And I'm using Windows Vista, and I have no idea where anything is to see what the problem is.

Is it already on the computer? I also use Vista, but a stripped down version not from the manufacturer. If Vista came pre-loaded, it might already have it installed.

I've looked but it says i have to download it

what does it say when it's at 99%? can't it finish downloading or something else? look up the software, if it says msn in there (windows live messenger I think is the name) deinstall that and reinstall WLM..
