DVD Burning Software

Can anyone recommend some good dvd burning freeware that I can download to burn files onto a disk to watch on my dvd player?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone?

I was looking at these two products:
This one doesn't explicitly say that it converts from avi to dvd, so I'm not sure if it's what I'm looking for:

This one does say that it converts AND burns, but it doesn't say if there are any limitations due to it being free (watermark, limited uses, etc):

My daughter uses the converter/burner that comes with Vista Ultimate, and is quite happy with it. I only have Vista Basic on my computer, and that application doesn't come with Basic.

I am not sure what are the file types that you want to convert over to dvd but

visit this site: http://www.videohelp.com/

it seems like a great source that may help you out.

I found this AVI to DVD guide there:

http://www.videohelp.com/guides/avi-...uide-id992#992

It also provides links to the tools that they used and details if they are freeware or shareware.
