Does anyone know about computer speakers?

I'm not 100% this is the right forum, but I think it is, so here goes.

I have some pretty nice Klipsch 5.1 surround sound computer speakers, but I'm having a problem with them. When I turn them up loud they get this static sound going on. It's very strange, because it acts up alot when I do things such as scroll my mouse and such. Very strange indeed. It's not constant static, it's just like an off and on crackling noise.

I know probably no one knows about this, but just thought I'd give it a shot.

It's not the speakers - it's just a less than stellar signal-to-noise ratio on your computer's soundcard.

Can you get replacement plugs that run from the speakers to the soundcard?

You COULD try that, but its probably best to get a whole new soundcard.
