do not disconnect on ipod

i just purchase this ipod less than a week ago, tonight i was downloading songs videos, i finished what i was doing, i pressed the eject button, but didnt see the main screen

i pulled out the plug, and now the screen only says "do not disconnect" i cant turn it off, i try to connect it back to the computer, but it wont recognise it...

i dont know what to do???

shall i wait til the battery dies

im so sick of modern techonology

Have you tried rebooting your iPod? Hold down Select (the button in the middle of the click wheel) and Menu.
