Digital Picture Frames

They seem to be great gift ideas, but I have questions about the WIFI the WIFI simply to copy pictures onto the memory of the frame (be it card, onboard, whatever)

can the WIFI be set up so that the frame accesses shared picture folders on the LAN and displays them on the fly? Like for instance if I have a hard drive connected to the LAN that's shared, can I display pictures that reside on it using the frame, without actually copying them onto the frame?

Anyone know? I googled a bit but couldn't seem to find a definitive answer..

I think you can do that and you can also set it up to display pics from online photo-sharing sites without copying them. But I don't have a WiFi frame so I don't know how.

I think the best way to find out will be to call customer support. Try Pandigital or Kodak

If you find the info, can you post a link back here.

I love the couple of photo frames I have (one relatively cheap, one rather expensive).
