Desktop Icons

Few months ago I got my MacBook.
Everything is fine with it, but one thing has been bothering me:
I can't find a way to hide my Desktop Icons.

This wouldn't bother me as much if all the icons snaped into a grid like on Windows.

Anyone know how to activate a grid/hide Mac desktop icons?

You have to click on your desktop, click View-->Show View Options and select Snap to Grid.


I don't know of any ways to hid your icons...

I'm loving it, glad I got it. Does everything almost every other machine I've had couldn't and does what they could better.

You can hide some of them in the Finder prefs.

I never have, I don't really keep much on the desktop anyway though.
