Camera Battery Problem

I keep getting the Battery Exhausted warning on my camera even right after I put in brand new batteries. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there some other mystery battery it's talking about?

There may be an internal memory battery...I cant think why else the battery gets exausted unless its a rechargable one. Are they like AA batteries or simmilar so you can check them in other stuff to make sure they arnt getting run down?

Yeah that's a good idea, I'll do that.

Maybe they're just cold or something from the weather.

our camera only like Lithium batteries. any other type makes the battery light flash within a couple of minutes. might be worth a try??

I think you hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what's happening with mine. I'll track down some lithium batteries and give it a shot.

it took me ages to figure it out. Luckily I bought the same camera as my Dad so he could help me figure it out
