I want to try to setup a blog on my own domain. I'm sure there must be blog packages you can install? For example, in the past I've used guestbooks, php forums, and photo galleries. I used to do my own blog, but I'm not that picky so I'd rather have something pre-made I can quick throw on. Does anyone use something like this? Can you recommend a product?

According to my brother, who is this ultra-web kinda guy (and paid obscenely for his expertise), the simplest and best product out that that conforms to the most standards and makes the cleanest blog site is WordPress

you can see an example of a site with it, well it's my bro's site: http://www.willpate.org he blogs pretty much daily, and a variety of forms of media, so I think it's a cool example.

A co-worker showed me Nucleus so that's what I installed. A bit tricky, since I'm new to php as of yesterday, but I'm getting the hang of it....
