It's hard for me to rank "Empire" very high because it was such a letdown after the Holiday Special. That was the peak of modern art as we know it.

....boy, did ii kill this thread? Raiders of the Lost Ark is a FUN movie, with Harrison Ford of Star Wars fame and 1/2 Jewish, imagine that! anyone prefer a horror flick The Shining?..

Well, The Shining is what it is, but the best version for me is the 1997 mini series starring Steven Weber and Rebecca DeMornay.
